For investment decision-makers

Every outsourced part adds lead time and a setup charge.

Prototypes, control panels, jigs, aluminium and engineering-plastic parts: when outsourced, the supplier sets the timetable and setup charges add to the bill. Every change restarts the process.

TEKNO brings a heavy-duty gantry router into your business, with bed sizes from 1250 × 1250 to 4050 × 2050 mm and 150 mm Z travel: from prototypes to short runs on the same machine, using your existing files.

Savings on subcontract machining range from 20% to 50%, depending on the case; indicative payback is 18–24 months. We check these figures on your parts, rather than relying on an average.

What changes in your business

Prototype today, production tomorrow, on the same bed.

  • 1
    Control of your production process

Mechanical parts, plastic components, cladding and control panels produced in-house, on your own schedule.

  • 2
    Large panels and small parts

The zoned bed secures both 3 × 2 m sheets and small parts, using vacuum, clamps or a combination, reducing setup time.

  • 3
    Measurable precision

Digital probing and volumetric compensation allow Z to follow the actual workpiece surface, including fine engraving.

  • 4
    Industry 4.0 as standard

Machine software can be accessed remotely for real-time job status and file integration with your systems.

Expand through modules

Start with the base. Add what you need when you need it.

The structure and mechanics match the fully equipped configuration: modules can be added later at your premises, without trading in the machine.

Base: routing and vacuum bed

Profiling, pocketing, drilling and engraving of wood, plastics and composites.

Add tool change and cooling

Eight-position tool rack and minimum-quantity air-oil lubrication for aluminium and light alloys.

Add volumetric compensation

Probing and SCV for tight tolerances on plates and control panels.

Choosing a format

Five formats.
Sized for your work.

From components to large panels: compare usable working areas and select the bed for your materials and production processes.

Frequently asked questions

What customers ask before a material test.

Which format should I choose?

Five working areas: 1250 × 1250 · 2050 × 1250 · 1250 × 2600 · 2050 × 3050 · 2050 × 4050 mm. The choice depends on your parts and the available space.

Can it machine steel?

TEKNO is designed for aluminium, light alloys, engineering plastics, composites and wood. It can perform light-duty work on ferrous alloys; for full steel machining or 5-axis machining centres, we can suggest other solutions.

Can I use my existing CAM software?

We check software and machining-file compatibility when defining the configuration.

How long do installation and training take?

Three to five days at your premises with an Automa technician: assembly, testing on your parts and operator training in Italian.

What does it cost?

We discuss pricing after a call to define the right configuration for your materials and volumes: cost depends on format, spindle and modules. We support Italian customers applying for eligible incentives (see Italian incentives).

Material testing

Bring us a file, a material and a target result.

Contact us with your machining file and material details: together we will agree on testing arrangements and availability.

You will speak to someone at Automa. We discuss pricing after understanding your work, rather than sending a standard price by email.
