Small jobs are turned down, lead times depend on subcontractors and growth is limited by the owner's working hours. A first CNC machine helps unlock this capacity, with an operator who can learn the machine in a few days.
PRIMA shares the heavy-duty construction principles of Automa's industrial machines, with a 3050 × 2050 mm bed and the equipment needed to start: vacuum bed, vision system and automatic tool change. Additional options can follow when needed.
As your work changes, the machine grows: further modules and spindle power can be added at your premises, with material advice continuing after purchase.
Figures provided by Automa based on previous installations; they vary with material, volume and configuration. We check them together on your actual work before you order.
What changes in your business
More services for existing customers, greater control over urgent jobs and a foundation for your next step.
- 1Produce signs, furniture and profiled panels in-house
Letters, plaques, shapes and engraving from your file, within the same day as the sale.
- 2An operator can learn it in days
Open CAD/CAM software and an Italian-language interface; an Automa technician provides training on your material.
- 3Print registration maintained
The vision system reads registration marks: PRIMA also profiles printed panels by following the artwork.
- 4The manufacturer answers your call
Automa develops the hardware and software: your contact knows the machine and your material.
Expand through modules
Start with the base. Add what you need when you need it.
The structure and mechanics match the fully equipped configuration: modules can be added later at your premises, without trading in the machine.
Base: routing, vacuum bed, vision and tool change
Routing, profiling, engraving, pocketing and 2.5D machining of wood, plastics, foam, acrylic and light alloys.

Frequently asked questions
What customers ask before a material test.
Is this the right machine to get started?
Yes, if you work with rigid panels and currently outsource or turn down jobs: signs, furniture, profiled panels, components, prototypes and short production runs. If you already need knife cutting for cardboard, start with VISIO Pro.
How much space is required?
The bed is 3050 × 2050 mm. Together we check the space required for the selected configuration, including loading and unloading.
How does a test on my material work?
Contact us with your machining file and material details: together we will agree on testing arrangements and availability.
How long do installation and training take?
Three to five days at your premises with an Automa technician: assembly, testing on your material and operator training in Italian.
What does it cost?
We discuss pricing after a call to define the right configuration for your work. We support Italian customers applying for eligible incentives (see Italian incentives).

Material testing
Bring us a file, a material and a target result.
