AUTOMA Test your material IT

Designing and building CNC machines in Italy since 2013

CNC routers built around your work.

For sign makers, printers, exhibition contractors and manufacturers machining rigid materials. We start with your files, materials, finishes and volumes to define a configuration that fits your production.

We understand your work

Start with the processes you want to bring in-house.

In this video, Angelo Cava introduces the PRIMA range and Automa's approach.

Who we can help

What is your sector? Follow the colour to the machine.

The three machines share construction and electronic-control principles, with beds, heads and spindles configured for your everyday work. Select your sector to explore the machine.

The sector-to-machine match is a starting point: sectors overlap and every material needs the right process. We make the final choice together, using your file and material. Another sector? Let's talk.

Direct from the manufacturer

The people who designed the machine answer your call.

Automa develops the hardware and software. Your contact knows the machine and your material, before and after purchase.

  • +
    Start with the base and grow with your business

    Buy the configuration you need today; compatible knife, creasing, tool-change and vision modules can be added later according to the machine range, without changing its structure or mechanics.

  • ☎
    Speak to the people who built it

    Support starts by phone or remote connection, which often resolves the issue. No call centre and no ticket to open.

  • ∞
    Ongoing advice on materials

    Every material needs the right tools, speeds and workholding. We support you after installation whenever your work changes.

  • IT
    Italian quality, clearly identified components

    Design, assembly and testing in Sala Consilina; Italian CNC control and standard industrial components, never rebranded.

Material testing

Measured with a stopwatch, in a real production business.

Immagine S.r.l. in Sandigliano, near Biella, chose VISIO Pro after timed tests.

1/3 of the previous average routing time, with an order for 15,000 Dibond plaques accepted

“The digital cutter was busy from morning to night. With the stopwatch in hand, we concluded that VISIO Pro would solve the bottleneck.”

A direct relationship with the people behind the machine.

“No call centres. No tickets.”
Visual-communication customer in Biella

“By adding an Automa router alongside its digital cutter, the customer expanded its production capabilities: dedicated routing of rigid materials, careful finishing and direct manufacturer support.”

Who it is for

We tell you straight away, so you can focus on the right solution.

Our machines suit your business if…

  • you work with large rigid panels: Dibond and composites, Forex and PVC, acrylic, honeycomb board and Re-board, wood and MDF, aluminium and engineering polymers;
  • you make signs, displays, exhibition fittings, packaging, print finishing, furniture, industrial components or prototypes;
  • you currently outsource routing or cutting of rigid materials, or your digital cutter is fully booked;
  • you want a machine that starts with the base and grows with your business, backed by a manufacturer who answers your call.

We will gladly suggest another solution if…

  • you manufacture window profiles, roller shutters or shutter boxes: these require dedicated machines;
  • you need offset-print or leaflet finishing, which requires different equipment;
  • you need a 5-axis machining centre or full steel machining;
  • you are looking for subcontract machining: we build and sell machines. If useful, we can put you in touch with a customer near you.

Material testing

Bring us a file, a material and a target result.

We test the machine on your work, in our Sala Consilina workshop or through a video of the machined part. Before you order, we establish whether and how your material can be processed.

You will speak to someone at Automa. We discuss pricing after understanding your work, rather than sending a standard price by email.
